Crisis Response Journal Publishes First Article on BRIDGE Advanced Situation Awareness

 

We are pleased to report that Crisis Response Journal has published the first in a series of four articles on the Advanced Situation Awareness system developed by Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg within the BRIDGE project. This article, entitled Awareness Systems in Emergency Response, came out last month in Issue 10:3 of the journal. 

 

Friedrich Steinhäusler (Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg) introduces the first part describing a system that incorporates UAVs, a computer-based expert system and 3-D modelling to provide situational awareness in emergencies.
