Abstract
This paper proposes an agent-based framework for secure and smart sharing of sensor data in crisis response and management. The framework is grounded on two complementing agent-based solutions: the Secure Shared Distributed DataSpace (S2D2S) and Template-based Workflows. S2D2S provides a secure and flexible data sharing platform to facilitate the sensor data collaboration in crises among public and private organizations and crisis responders. Template-based workflows automate the data sharing process with software agents and pre-defined templates. The proposed framework has been prototyped on the AgentScape middleware.
